For this module, I decided to join a listserv. I perused the listservs that Dr. Stansberry recommended in the module and selected Teachers' Net Mailrings. I was a little overwhelmed by all of the topics available; almost all seemed interesting and relevant to me. Ultimately, I decided to sign up for the listservs for classroom management issues, early childhood educators, and librarians.

My reflections of the process:
I did not realize how much great information is available through this avenue. I spent some time looking through the the Teachers' Net Gazette and reading and skimming articles. I also spent time viewing responses on the various chatboards. I found a resource on one of the early childhood chatboards to share with Pre-K and K teachers at work. They are always looking for fresh ways to gain the children's attention during programs. I found a brief article there entitled "25 Ways to Obtain Children's Attention in a School Setting" and other ideas posted throughout the discussion. I am always looking for staff development or training ideas for staff and professional development for me. This is a resource that I plan to continue using!
